Rome Bound II!!!

Hola a todos!!! Hoy os traigo como os prometí en Rome Bound!!!, la segunda parte de mi viaje a Roma. Espero que si la primera parte os gustó esta no sea para menos y me encantaría que os sintierais parte de esta experiencia.

El tercer día empezó en la Plaza de Venecia para disfrutar de la inmensidad del Altare della Patria con el que quedamos impresionados. Nuestro recorrido siguió con el Foro Romano, nunca unas ruinas han llamado tanto mi atención. La verdad, es que yo estaba atónita constantemente intentando averiguar cómo unas obras de tal tamaño pudieron ser construidas sin la ayuda con la que se cuenta actualmente.

Después del break para comer, nuestro paseo por la historia continuó y nos llevó ni más ni menos que al magnánimo Coliseo donde pasamos horas y horas haciendo fotos y admirando la grandiosidad de esta joya arquitectónica. Una de las visitas que más me impactó durante nuestra estancia en la capital italiana.

El siguiente día, llegó con un tiempo más que primaveral en el que pudimos disfrutar aún más de la belleza de la ciudad. Empezamos este caluroso día con la obligada visita a la Fontana De Trevi, que aún llena de turistas y curiosos sigue conservando su magia y te anima a regalarle la fortuna de tus deseos por un instante (tengo que deciros que no pude evitar grabar un par de boomerangs mientras tiraba la moneda jajajaja). Después de un mágico momento continuamos hasta la Plaza de España, en la que subimos las escaleras y disfrutamos de unas magníficas vistas, daba gusto mirar al cielo.

Spanish Steps

El viaje al pasado volvió presentarse en nuestro camino y sin darnos cuenta estábamos admirando otra joya del pasado, el Panteón de Agripa, realmente impactante, sin duda alguna. La mañana terminó con la visita a la Plaza Navona y su Fuente de los Cuatro Ríos, uno de los días que más recorrimos se merecía una comida en condiciones para terminar de despedir Roma en condiciones, toda la información sobre dónde y qué comimos en Pasta Paradise!, sólo de recordarlo se me hace la boca agua jajajajaja

Por la noche decidimos acercarnos a uno de los barrios con más encanto e historia de toda Roma, el Trastevere, mientras que en el camino nos topamos con el Foro y debo deciros que es incluso más impresionante a la luz de la luna, por lo que si tenéis la oportunidad os lo aconsejo encarecidamente 🙂

Y así llegó nuestro último día en la ciudad, nadie se quería ir sin un último vistazo a nuestro alrededor y con ello aprovechamos para hacer alguna compra que otra de souvenirs y de ver la Basílica de Santa María la Mayor, impactante como todo lo demás en esta tan histórica ciudad. De la que no te puedes ir si no te has enamorado de sus calles entre paseo y paseo. La hora se aproximaba y nuestro vuelo a Madrid esperaba así que sin darnos cuenta, volvimos a casa con una maleta llena de nuevas experiencias y aventuras que espero poder volver a repetir muy pronto.

Hello everyone!!! Today I bring you as promised in Rome Bound!!!, the second part of my trip to Rome. I hope that you will liked this part as well as the first so far, and I would love you to feel part of this experience.

The third day began in Piazza Venezia to enjoy the immensity of the Altare della Patria with which we were impressed. Our tour continued with the Roman Forum, a few ruins have never called my attention as them did it. The truth is that I was constantly astonished trying to find out how works of such size could be built without the help with we have nowadays.

After the lunch break, our walk through history continued and took us to the magnanimous Coliseum where we spent hours and hours taking photos and admiring the grandeur of this architectural gem. One of the visits that most impacted me during our stay in the Italian capital.

The next day, came with a rather spring time in which we were able to enjoy even more the beauty of the city. We start this sunny day with a must visit, the Trevi Fountain, which still full of tourists and curious still retaining its magic atmosphere and encourages you to give the fortune of your wishes for a moment (I have to tell you that I could not avoid recording a couple of Boomerangs while tossing the coin hahaha). After a magical moment we continued to the Piazza di Spagna, where we climbed the Spanish Steps and enjoyed a gorgeous view, it was a pleasure to look at the blue sky.

The trip to the past came again on our way and without realizing we were admiring another jewel of the past, the Pantheon of Agrippa, shockingly beautiful, without a doubt. The morning ended with a visit to Piazza Navona and its Fountain of the Four Rivers, one of the days that we walked the most deserved a great meal to finish dismissing Rome properly, all the information on where and what we ate in Pasta Paradise!, (just remembering it makes my mouth salivate hahahahaha).

At night we decided to go to one of the most charming and historical districts of Rome, Trastevere, while on the way we met the Forum again and I must tell you that it is even more impressive in the light of the moon, if you have the opportunity I strongly recommend it 🙂

Thus our last day in the city arrived, no one wanted to go without a last look around the neighborhood and so we went to buy some souvenirs and to see the Basilica of Santa Maria la Maggiore, shocking as everything else in this historic city. Of which you cannot go if you have not fallen in love with its streets between walk and walk. The time was approaching and our flight to Madrid waited so, without realizing it, we went back home with a suitcase full of new experiences and adventures that I hope to be able to repeat again very soon.
