SAG Awards 2017

La noche del pasado domingo tuvo lugar en LA la celebración de los SAG Awards. Antesala de los esperadísimos Oscars. Por lo tanto, aquí os traigo mi resumen de moda y actualidad sobre lo que esta noche nos dejó para la memoria.

Los SAG, a parte de los Oscars son de los premios más valorados por los actores y actrices ya que son ellos mismos desde el sindicato de actores quiénes votan y entregan estos galardones. Siempre se han visto como una premonición de lo que pasará el próximo 26 de Febrero.

Como siempre, empezamos la noche con la esperada red carpet. Donde este año más que nunca se está dejando a un lado la frivolidad y se está abriendo una brecha hacía lo reivindicativo. Sin embargo, no he podido dejar de compartir mis favoritos con vosotros. Aquí están algunos de ellos.

Los momentos más emotivos de una gala de premios suelen ser los discursos de agradecimiento de los galardonados. Esta vez no fue para menos, todos ellos con el mismo mensaje indirecto a la situación actual de la cuna del cine y el espectáculo, EEUU. Las recientes decisiones del nuevo presidente no han dejado a nadie indiferente. Y como modelos de conducta y espejos para la sociedad, esta comunidad no quiso dejar pasar la oportunidad de mostrar su apoyo a los ciudadanos de a pie de su querida América.

Esta velada será recordada por ser una de las más reivindicativas de los últimos años, dejándonos para la prosperidad frases como las siguientes:

«Quiero que todos sepáis que soy la hija de un inmigrante. Mi padre fue perseguido en la Francia ocupada por los nazis. Soy una americana patriótica y adoro este país, y por eso me horrorizan sus defectos, y este veto migratorio es un horror y es anti-americano». Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Anunció la ganadora al SAG como mejor actriz de serie de comedia.

«Esta historia va sobre la unidad, esta historia va de lo que ocurre cuando dejamos nuestras diferencias a un lado y nos unimos como seres humanos. Nosotros ganamos, el amor gana, siempre», manifestó Taraji P. Henson

Junto a sus compañeros de reparto y haciendo referencia al mensaje que transmite Figuras Ocultas, ganadores del SAG por mejor actuación grupal.

«Vivimos en unos tiempos muy convulsos, en el mundo y en este país, y las cosas se han puesto tan aterradoras que hay que moverse. Estoy tan agradecida de formar parte de un grupo de gente que se preocupa y que quiere devolverle cosas a la sociedad». Emma Stone

La gran favorita en todas las quinielas, La La Land, también dejo su granito de arena. Gracias al galardón de mejor interpretación femenina que fue a recaer en manos de Emma Stone.

«Buenas noches a los colegas del Screen Actors Guild y a todos los que nos ven desde casa. Y a todos los que están en los aeropuertos que pertenecen a mi América», dijo Kutcher». Sois parte del tejido de lo que somos, y os queremos y os damos la bienvenida».

El presentador de la gala, Ashton Kutcher, tampoco dudó en ensalzar la variedad de culturas que siempre ha caracterizado a los EEUU.

Por último, el que para mí fue el discurso de la noche. Vino de la mano de los galardonados por mejor actuación en conjunto de serie dramática. El elenco de Stranger Things nos dejó a todos boquiabiertos, con las palabras, de su jefe de policía, no sólo a ti Winona!

Last Sunday’s night in LA was held the SAG Awards ceremony. The previous step to the awaited Oscar’s. So, I’m here today to bring you my fashion and current affairs review about a night to remember.

The SAG, aside from the Oscar’s are one of the most valued awards by the actors and actress since are themselves who vote and choose the winners. Always has been seen as a premonition about the 26^th February act.

Like on every gala, the night started with a precious red carpet. Where this year more than ever is leaving aside frivolity and is opening a new path to the protest. Although, I couldn’t let to share with you my favorites looks of the night.

The most emotive moments of an awards show used to be when the winners say thanks with their speech. This time wasn’t for less, every speech had something in common, a message to fight with the current situation of their country, the USA. The recent decisions of the new president haven’t let anybody without an opinion. Thus, as mirrors and role models, this community enhanced the opportunity to speak out for the citizens of their beloved America.

The soirée will be remembering for being one of the most speech-focus of the last years, giving us quotes like the next ones:

 I want you all to know that I am the daughter of an immigrant. My father fled religious persecution in Nazi-occupied France, and I’m an American patriot. And I love this country. And because I love this country, I am horrified by its blemishes. This immigrant ban is a blemish, and it is un-American. Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Stated the winner for best actress of a comedy series.

Taraji P. Henson, who starred in the night’s big winner, “Hidden Figures,” noted that that film was about unity, and she praised the real-life women the movie was based on for focusing on solutions. “When we put our differences aside and we come together as a human race, we win, love wins. Every time.”

‘We’re in a really tricky time in the world, in our country, and things are very inexcusable and scary and need action and I’m so grateful to be part of a group of people that cares and wants to reflect things back to society so thank you.

Said Emma Stone, the winner for the Outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role.

“Good evening, fellow SAG-AFTRA members, and everyone at home, and everyone in airports that belong in my America,” the actor said while opening the show. “You are a part of the fabric of who we are. And we love you and we welcome you.

The presenter of the night said, Ashton Kutcher, praying for the variety of cultures always represented in the USA.

Last but not least, the one that for me was the best speech of the night. It came from the sheriff of Stranger Things, as they won in the category of Outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series. A breath taking words that not only left Winona speechless.
