Hola a todos! Hoy os traigo un post veraniego lleno de arte y estilo desde la costa azul, estoy hablando del Festival de Cannes que está teniendo lugar desde el 17 de Mayo y que durará hasta el próximo 28 de Mayo en esta preciosa ciudad de la Riviera francesa.

Este año tiene lugar la 70º edición de un festival lleno de obras independientes, contemporáneas y lo que más me gusta a mí, la clase y elegancia que se observa en todas sus alfombras.

Es un festival lleno de variedad y eventos por doquier, desde los estrenos de día a las galas benéficas de noche, además de contar con cenas honoríficas a diversas personalidades de la industria cinematográfica.

Hace unos años que sigo este festival no sólo por su contenido de dress code si no también por la calidad y lo diferente de sus proyecciones, cada una de ellas tiene algo que las hace únicas y las coloca fuera de la masa de cine comercial a la que estamos acostumbrados. Por lo que si sois fanáticos de esta industria os recomiendo encarecidamente que le echéis un vistazo al cartel de esta edición y descubriréis unas magníficas joyas escondidas entre mar y palmeras.

Yo tengo muchas ganas de ver el primer trabajo de Kristen Stewart como directora en Come Swim, Wonderstruck con Julianne Moore y Michelle Williams y The Beguiled, lo último de Sofia Coppola, con Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning y Kirsten Dunst a la cabeza.

Como os he dicho este no es el típico festival en el que fijarse sólo en el dress code de noche, muchos de los mejores se presentan bajo el sol y las palmeras de esta encantadora ciudad, por ello aquí os dejo una muestra de lo que está siendo hasta ahora la relación Cannes-Cine-Moda, espero que lo disfrutéis.

Me encantaría saber si conocíais este festival, si os gustan el tipo de películas que se representan y cuales han sido vuestros looks favoritos.

Por mi parte esto ha sido todo, espero que os haya gustado el post de hoy, si es así la semana que viene os seguiré contando lo que pasé entre la arena y las palmeras de esta fashion city.

Hello everyone! Today I bring you a summer post full of art and style from the blue coast, I’m talking about The Cannes Festival that is taking place from May 17 and will last until May 28 in this beautiful city on the French Riviera.

This year is the 70th edition of a festival full of independent, contemporary works and what I like the most, the class and elegance that is observed in all their carpets.

It is a festival full of variety and events everywhere, from the premieres of the day to the charities at night, in addition to honorary dinner to various personalities of the film industry.

I started to follow this festival a few years ago, not only because of its dress code content but also because of the quality and the particularities of its projections, each of them has something that makes them unique and places them outside the mass of commercial cinema to which we are used to. So if you are a fanatic of this industry I strongly recommend that you take a look at the poster of this edition and discover some magnificent gems hidden between blue sea and palm trees.

I really want to see Kristen Stewart’s first work as a director on Come Swim, Wonderstruck with Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams and The Beguiled, Sofia Coppola’s latest with Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning and Kirsten Dunst at the helm.

As I said this is not the typical festival in which to look only at the dress code at night, many of the best are presented under the sun and palm trees of this charming city, so here I leave a sample of what is going on with the Cannes-Movies-Fashion relationship so far, I hope you enjoy it.

I would love to know if you already knew this festival, if you like the kind of films that are represented there and which have been your favorite looks.
