Coachella 2017

Ya estamos en primavera y eso sólo significa una cosa en el entorno musical, la temporada de festivales ha dado su pistoletazo de salida. El fin de semana pasado tuvo lugar en Indio (California) uno de los eventos musicales más esperados del año, Coachella, cita que se volverá a repetir este fin de semana.

Muchos nostálgicos dicen que Coachella ya no es lo que era en sus inicios, artistas rock/indie y un evento segmentado sólo para unos pocos en el que disfrutar hasta altas de la noche acompañados de la ubicua noria que se puede ver en cualquier instantánea. Y puede que estos tengan razón, pero esto también ha dado cabida a la evolución del festival como una nueva experiencia musical, gastronómica, fashion y comercial todo con la mira de atraer a más público a este desierto, desde mi punto de vista.

Al captar a más público el punto de mira se centra más en sus asistentes hasta el punto de haberse convertido en una pasarela boho chic de la que sacar ideas e inspiración de cara a nuestros outfits de verano, por ello aquí os dejo los que han sido algunos de mis looks favoritos durante estos 3 días.

No pueden faltar las referencias musicales y os voy a decir quienes han sido mis favoritos en esta edición. Una edición en la que la mayoría de los artistas no han estado solos y sorprendieron al público con colaboraciones como la de Future y Drake.

• Día 1: The XX, Empire of the Sun, Capital Cities.
• Día 2: Bon Iver, Future (ft. Drake), DJ Snake, Bastille & Lady Gaga.
• Día 3: Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, Galantis, Marshmello.

En resumen, hay festivales para todos los gustos y preferencias, así cada uno puede elegir el más acorde a sus gustos y personalidad, disfrutar de los artistas en ellos y la experiencia que conlleva en sí la asistencia a un evento musical. Para mi Coachella sigue siendo EL FESTIVAL al que me encantaría poder acudir en las próximas ediciones y embriagarme de su ambiente entre palmeras.

We are already in spring and that only means one thing in the musical environment, the season of festivals has given its starting gun. Last weekend was held in Indio (California) one of the most awaited musical events of the year, Coachella, an appointment that will be repeated again this weekend.

Many nostalgic say that Coachella is no longer what it was at its beginnings, rock / indie artists and a segmented event only for a few in which to enjoy until late hours accompanied by the ubiquitous Ferris wheel that can be seen in any shot. And they may be right, but this has also given rise to the evolution of the festival as a new musical, gastronomic, fashion and commercial experience all with the aim of attracting more public to this desert, from my point of view.

By capturing more public, the focus is more on its attendees to the point of having become a boho chic runway from which to take ideas and inspiration for our summer outfits, so up there I left you the ones that have been some of my favorite looks during these 3 days.

Musical references cannot be missed on a festival like this one and I will tell you who have been my favorites in this edition. An edition in which the majority of the artists have not been alone and surprised the public with collaborations like the one of Future and Drake.

Day 3: Lord, Kendrick Lamar, Galantis, Marshmello.

In short, there are festivals for all tastes and preferences, so everyone can choose the most according to their likes and personality, enjoy the artists in them and the experience that entails attending a musical event. For me Coachella is still THE FESTIVAL that I would love to be able to attend in the next editions and get lost on its environment among palm trees.
